Why did you seek out a program(s) with The Glow Effect?
I knew I wanted more for myself and that I have big dreams but I also have doubts that sometimes I let become louder.
Probable future if you didn’t get help?
Choosing my comfort zone more than my dreams.
Impact the program made on your life?
I went from asking myself these massive overwhelming questions to being asked the right questions to help me piece together exactly what I stand for- it let my mind be clear enough to start making the right steps forward!
What were your doubts/objections prior to investment of time and money? How did you overcome doubts?
I’ve spent the last couple of years prioritizing spending time on personal development so that wasn’t an issue but when it came to parting ways with an already tight budget, I asked myself if I was willing to save money to go travelling the last 2 summers (I believe travel brings you so much growth) then why wouldn’t I want to invest this money in myself, because that’s exactly what I believe my growth is, an investment.
What’s your dream and how are you living it right now?
My dream is to be the best role model to girls and to inspire them to be their greatest potential. The last 2 years I have run a Media Literacy after school club where we have open conversations about photoshop, body image, sexist language and stereotypes, self esteem etc and I hope one day in the future that not only will I be a badass role model for the children in my life but that I also incorporate this vision into my what will be psychotherapist practice.
If that’s too long aha “You have more to do than be weighed down by pretty or beautiful. You are a fiery heart and a wicked brain. Do not let your soul be defined by its shell.”
